It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a great selfless lady Ada Mae Wilkins (Nee Wade), Mae had a very short but fierce battle with cancer treatment that had proven to be much for her body to handle and she passed peacefully away June 30 ^th at 3:54AM in the St. John's Health Science Centre with her two daughters Dena & Diane by her side.

Mae is predeceased by her Father James Wade, Mother Louise Wade-Taite (Nee Lane), and Brothers Carson & Jake Wade, Her Father and Mother In-law Russell (Amanda)Wilkins SR, Her sister in-law & close friend Myrtle Wilkins, Most of all her pride & joy son Dale Wilkins.

She leaves to mourn a large number of family & friends starting with her husband Dennis Wilkins of 47 years, Her Daughters and their spouse Dena Wilkins (Robert Thorne), Diane(Dale)Feltham, Stepdaughter Jill(Simon)Fraser her beloved Grandchildren Kaityln Wilkins (Chad Burry) with her great grandson Maxwell Burry, Lukus Oram-Feltham (Riley Cotter), Logan Oram-Feltham & Peyton Feltham, Step-grandchilren Shelby Barr, Maleah Fraser, Neesah Fraser and a list of loving foster children who she cared for deeply.

Her families of Clara(George)Dyke, Olive(Dan)Collins, Blossom Wade (Rick Higdon), John Wade, Sister in-laws Joyce Wade, Linda Wade & Stepfather Kater Taite.

Her Husband's families of Russell Wilkins, Wayne(Trudy)Wilkins, Derrick(Judy) Wilkins, Roger(Gail)Wilkins, Brian(Shirley)Wilkins, Sharon(Tonny)Legge, Debbie (Hilary)Arnold, Linda(Eric)Taite, Eileen(Frank)Davis, Darrin(Amanda)Wilkins, Denise(Jerry)Cashin, Dolly(Darrell)Preston, Claude(Lana)Wilkins.

Under the circumstances and due to the set limitations of the pandemic with such a large family the funeral services will be held outside at the Salvation Army Cemetery in Gambo at 2:00pm Saturday or Sunday weather permitting. There is a 50 person limit inside the fence and that will consist of 50 previously contacted attending family members, Outside of the fence visitation is welcome as long as social distancing measures are still able to be met.

We are making arrangements for a PA system so that the service can be heard by all that attend so please follow the new public health guidelines.
