Andrew Joseph Kelly   April 2, 1932 - May 20, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, age 92 years.
He passed peacefully away in the presence of his family on the morning of May 20th at Lakeside Homes in Gander, NL. Andy (as he was known), enjoyed married life with his beloved wife Nellie, for almost 60 years until her passing in 2011.

For most of his adult life he worked with the Provincial Department of Forestry and was well known throughout his district. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, volunteered with the Gambo R.C. Parish and served on Gambo Town Council for serveral years. He really enjoyed rabbit catching, moose hunting and other outdoor activities. He thoroughly enjoyed time spent at his cabin on Gambo Pond with family and friends.

Predeceased by Father & Mother - Andrew & Elizabeth Kelly, Wife - Nellie, daughter Caroline, son Walter, daughter-in-law Theresa, son-in-law Ed, great granddaughter Molly. Also predeceased by his sisters Cecilia & Alice and brothers Cyril, Joseph, Edward, Bill and Steve.

He will be forever mourned by his loving family - Eugene/Pauline & Family, Madonna/Jeff & Family, Bernadette/Gerard & Family, Lucy & Family, Winnie/Henry & Family, the family of deceased son Walter. Also, by his bothers Roy, Gus, Richard & Ron Kelly.

Resting at Pritchett's Funeral Home, Gambo, NL

Visitation 3 - 9 pm Tuesday, May 21, 2024 and 9 AM - 1 PM Wednesday May 22, 2024.  Funeral service 2 pm Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at the Roman Catholic Church, Gambo, NL with Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Gambo, NL.
