Arthur James Paul
May 30 th , 1948- April 6 th ,2023
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Arthur James Paul on April 6 th , 2023 at the age of 74.
A loving and amazing, husband, father, Grand father, uncle and friend. Art was a kind and warm hearted
person who had a positive impact on all who knew him.

Arthur is predeceased by his parents George and Emma( nee Lane) Paul, Brother Thomas Paul, sisters
Elizabeth (Betty) Pritchett, Dorothy Cumby, Silvia Bennett and Molly Rindahl.

He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his loving wife, Louise of 52 years, children, Robert
(Alma) of Gambo, Sherry Wornell (Walter) of Greenspond, Jason (Lillian) of Appleton, grandchildren,
Jeremy Paul (Danielle), Tamara Wornell (Kyle), Chantal Wornell (James), Mitchell Paul, Daniel Paul and
Abigail Keats, great grandchildren, Craig and Benjamin Paul-Eastman and Emma Stratton, Brother in-law
Jim Lane, step grandchildren, Libby, Nikita and a large circle of extended family and friends.

Arthur was born and raised in Gambo, Newfoundland, where he met and Married the love of his life
Louise on August 29 th , 1970. Together they raised their 3 children here. Arthur was an active member of
his community, serving 35 years with the Gambo Volunteer Fire Department and 20 years with the
Gambo Volunteer Ambulance Service. He was a big part of his church community, he took great pride in
bring apart of the men's fellowship group and their sing alongs.

Arthur will be greatly missed by family, friends and all who knew him

Visitation times 2 - 9 Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Funeral Service Monday 2 PM at The United Church, Gambo.  Interment to follow
