Benjamin Cross, 49, of Gambo, NL passed away on November 29th, 2023 at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital.

Ben was born on August 24th, 1974 to Evelyn and Winston Cross in Gander, Newfoundland.

Ben was loved and will be missed by many in the small community of Gambo where he spent many years of his life. He was a hardworking man who worked up North in the Arctic painting and crack filing before returning home to Gambo. Although a quiet man, he had a heart of gold and would do anything to help someone out.

Ben is survived by Winston Cross (Father), Sharon Cross (Sister), Dylan Coates (Nephew). Ben was predeceased by Evelyn Cross (Mother), Harison & Ettie Saunders (Grand Parents), William and Myrtle Cross (Grand Parents) and Kody Coates (Nephew).

Visitation will be held at Pritchett's Funeral Home on Saturday December 2nd between 8pm-9pm and Monday December 4th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Funeral will be held at Saint George's Anglican Church on Tuesday December 5th at 2pm and interment at Saint George's Anglican cemetery.

The family would like to thank and recognize the ICU teams of the St. Clare's Mercy Hospital & James Payton Memorial Hospital who took great care of Ben in his final days.
