Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on December 8, 2025. Surrounded by her loving family. She is predeceased by her parents Marmaduke and Madge (Feltham) Cooze and brother -in-law, David Sparkes.

Colleen was always a resident of Gambo and loved everything about "Living on the Point". She loved life and enjoyed every day to the fullest.

Colleen worked for 30 years at the Chicken Bar and enjoyed every minute.  She was an active member of the St. George's Anglican Church and an ACW member, Church Warden,  choir member, and Alter Guild member until Meniere's disease, which confined her to using a walker when moving around,  that did not stop her from using the telephone and doing calls for the ACW.

She was a member of "Tops" and thoroughly enjoyed the social time with all "her girls".

Colleen was an avid baker and Christmas time was her favorite time preparing "Trays of Cookies" for all the Businesses in Gambo and for her family and friends.

Her memories will always be cherished by her brother, Frazer (Dale), Morgan (Millicent), sisters, Cavelle (Norman) Woodland, Sheila Sparkes, Kathleen (Barry) Cameron, Joanne. Her pride and Joy, her cat (Baby). Cherished nieces and nephews, great nephews and great nieces , and a great great nephew,  as well as a large number of cousins and friends.

Flower donations may be made in her memory to her family.
