It's with great sadness to announce the passing of a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, caregiver and friend. Deborah Pauline Pritchett

Deborah (Debbie) passed away peacefully at James Paton Memorial Health Center in the early hours of September 19,2025.

Leaving to mourn loving son Dennis, Daughter in law Janice, grandkids Brianna, Danielle, Cora and Evan. Special person James Gillingham. Siblings Shirley Simms, Ralph Lane (Marina), Lawrence Lane, and Nina Cashin, Brother in law Kurt Pritchett(Fronie), sister in law Linda Fischer, sister in law Audrey Lane. As well as a large circle of Nieces, Nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Predeceased by loving husband Clarence (Junior), parents Frank and Alma Lane, in-laws Clarence and Laura Pritchett, sisters Ena Pond, and Audrey James, brothers Frank and Raymond Lane. Sister in laws Marina Lane, Laura Lane, brother in laws David Simms, Arthur Pond, Austin Cashin, Frank James.

Apologizing in advance for any that I may have missed due to the large numbers and inability to focus at this time.

Deborah lived a life of love for family and friends. They all meant the world to her. Deborah started out as a hair stylist, went on to then pursue careers as a telephone operator for CN, that was followed by a payroll/office manager at Crimson Tide Fisheries, to a night shift data entry clerk with Goulding's Wholesale. She then turned to being what she enjoyed doing best. Being a caregiver. She had some much love to spread around.

I would like to send a huge thank you to all the family and friends that visited, reached out, and offered support for us and mom while she was in the hospital. I would also like to thank all the doctors, nurses and staff that provided the utmost care for mom in the previous 3 weeks. Thanks to Pritchett's Funeral Home for their support and services during this difficult time. Thanks to all that's made this situation as bearable as it could possibly be. Would also like to send a big thank you to my employer Goulding's Wholesale for allowing me the flexibility needed, to be there for mom in the last few weeks and the continuing support moving forward.

For all reading this, please moving forward just treat everyone how you want to be treated yourselves. A rule Deborah lived by and we could all benefit from her approach.

Any donations may be given to a charity of your choice. Cremation to take place and a Celebration of life may follow at a later date.
