Edie Paul of Gambo, age 85 years, passed peacefully away, surrounded by family at James Paton Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 10,2021

Predeceased by husband of 61 years, Manuel Paul Sr. Parents, James and Ella George; brother Joshua George; sisters Ethel O'Brien, Marie Paul, Phyllis Moss, Dorris and Peggy Short and son in law, Clyde Rogers.

Edie leaves fond memories with six children, Lemuel George(Sherron) Denise Ryan( Michael) , Sharon Rogers(Eldon), Nancy Pritchett(Christopher), Jeffery Paul(Gale) Elizabeth Dyke( Junior); 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother George George( Olivine); sister Millie Stanley and sister in law Mary Granter ( Dom); as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Edie will be remembered for her love of time out to the island. Cod jigging, enjoying a book, writing in her journal and combing the beaches.

She enjoyed time with family; a good laugh, lunch and game of cards. But most of all, we will remember her smile, open arms and big warm hug.

In keeping with Covid regulations, visitation is limited to immediate family. Anyone wishing to visit outside of this list, please call family and we will try to arrange a time for visitation.
