Edmund Richard Paul aged 69 was born in Gambo to Robert and Vera Paul on May 27 1945; he was one of eight children. Edmund married his wife Pearl Paul on February 1966. He is predeceased by both Robert and Vera.

He was devoted to playing whatever instrument he could put his hands on and also loved the outdoor life; hunting & fishing. He loved his vegetable garden as well.

He leaves to mourn his wife of 48 years, Pearl; 6 children;16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.

He was a strong man through 9 years of battling cancer, but still had high spirits and was laughing and joking through it all.

He was loved by all that had the honour to say they knew him.

Resting at Pritchett's Funeral Home in Gambo. Visitation to be held on Tuesday July 29th from 7pm-9pm; Wednesday July 30th from 10am-9pm, Thursday July 31st from 10am-9pm, Friday August 1st from 10am-9pm and Saturday August 2nd from 10am-12pm. Funeral services to be held at the Emmanuel United Church in Gambo on Saturday August 2nd, 2014 at 1pm. Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery in Gambo. Please no flowers by request, donations can be made to his family.
