It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Fred Brown on August 14, 2024, age 77 after a short but courageous battle with cancer.

Predeceased by parents John and Beatrice Brown; Sisters Elizabeth, Margaret (Calvin) Elms; Brother Larry Brown. Parents-in-law Cecil and Elsie Wiseman; Brother-in-law Bill (Pansy), Len (Nicey), Ray, Doug Wiseman; Sister-in-law Judy Blagdon, Rachel Wiseman, and Doris Elliott.

Left to morn his loving wife Minnie of 52 years; Son Cory (Trina) Brown; Daughter Valerie (Danny) Ridgeley; Grandchildren Sydney (Jordan), Jonah, Cheyenne, Shaylah, Julia, and Kayla; Great-grandson Alden and Great-granddaughter Airlie.

Also left to mourn sisters Daphne (Max) Denty, Marina Roberts, Dulcie (Wilfred) Wyatt, Verna (Gerald) Russell; Brothers Roland (Betty), Alonzo (Denise), David, Jack (Debbie), Ricky (Margie); And family members Phyllis Wiseman, Melvina Wiseman, Jim Elliott, and many nieces and nephews that were very special to him.

Fred brought great joy through his music and kindness, brightening the lives of many. His legacy will live on through all the memories of his music and video creations. He was a man of many talents and had great joy serving his community.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Dr. Armstrong, the Cancer Care Team, Dr. Fardy, the Palliative Care Team, Claudette Mackenzie, Community Health Services, Gail Ridgeley, Paramedic Joshua Williams, the Paramedicine Program for continuous home support.
