In Loving Memory of Gary Feltham

Gary, aged 74, of Gambo, Newfoundland, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving family at JPMH Gander.

Born on December 4, 1950, Gary was a devoted father, husband, grandfather and brother.

Gary spent  most of his life living and working in Labrador with his family before retiring back to Gambo in 2013.

Gary was a familiar and friendly face around town. Most mornings you could find him parked in his truck sipping a coffee, waiting for the next person to pull up next to him for a chat. Whether he was discussing the weather, where everyone was getting their salmon or what night cards were being played - Gary was always pleasant and eager to see his friends and loved ones.

His quiet wisdom and ability to offer comfort through simple yet meaningful advice will leave a lasting legacy. The way he shared life lessons-whether about fairness and honesty, to cooking and fishing — highlights his thoughtful nature and the bond he fostered with those close to him. These memories and teachings will continue to provide guidance and inspiration to us.

We were blessed to have the years we did with him and every memory and moment spent will be well cherished and thought of often in the years to come.

He leaves to mourn his daughter, Dawn Holloway; son-in-law, Todd Holloway; granddaughter, Mallarie Holloway; grandson, Mitchell Holloway(Danielle) great-grandchildren, Louise and Ethan Holloway; and sister Bernice Bennett( Winston) brother Les Rogers. (Pat) and many brother and sister in laws along with nieces and nephews. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Minnie and Bert Feltham; his wife, Bernadette Feltham; and his brother, Job Feltham.

Funeral Service Friday December 27 from the United Church, Gambo at 2 PM

Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery , Gambo

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
