Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial hospital on August 28, 2026 completely surrounded with his loving family by his side, who was his greatest joy of all. Dad was a very small man but had the soul & heart of a friendly giant. Born down on Bragg’s Island on January 2,1938 to Peter & Mary Jane (both predeceased). In October 27,1958, he married his soulmate Trixie Feltham and together they began a family that he was so proud of. His first daughter Joyce(Gerald), first son Alec(Kellie), Bride(Paul predeceased at the age of 54), Beulah(Gary), Denise(Joe), Linda(Paul) and Kenneth(Corina) He had a large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren that brought a smile to his face as they walked into the room. Sheryl(Craig) & Rylie, Tara(Lee) & Taylor, Shane(Drew & Sydney), Kristina(Tim) & Kai, Fin & Fraya, Konrad(predeceased at the age of 17), Laura(Mark) & Chantelle, Matt, Grayson & Ryker, Samantha(Bob), Adalynn, Emerson, Wyatt, Morris(Jillian) & Colbie & Cameron & Tyson & Breanna,Tiffany(Chris) & Lilly, Caden, Alexis & Gemma, Wayne(Sabrina) & Riley, Raya & Avery,Ryan(Shannon) & Silas & Reed, Natasha(Alex) & Jackson & Trenton, Terry(Sharon), Nathan & Karter, Brittany(Dylan) & Levi & Isaac, Blair(Bobbi) & Connor & Finley. 

In his younger years, he was a proud fisherman that worked on the Island. His hard working hands provided well for his family. He loved to share his stories with each of us and his stories never got old. He then moved to Hare bay and began his life on the mainland. He worked at the airport for sometime then proceeded to work at the Hospital in Gander as a janitor where he gained the respect & earned the trust of everyone he met through the pride he had shown in his work. He was known by many & loved by all, here he grew a large circle of friends who will remember him always.He was predeceased by all of his siblings & some in laws but also have left some here to mourn his love. He was a quiet kind soul that touched everyone in his path. He had an abundance of love, an abundance of knowledge to share such as his ability to transform a piece of wood into a beautiful boat and he was pure genuine joy to be around. We will always treasure our memories, your stories and the warmth of your love each & everyday day. Dad, we will love you forever & ever & ever.

Visitation at Pritchett's Funeral Home Monday 2 PM - 9 PM

Funeral Service Tuesday at 10 AM from the United Church, Gambo. Interment to follow.
