With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Hubert Carl Wade. Hubert passed away suddenly at his home in St. John's on March 26, 2022.

Predeceased by his parents Job and Alma Wade, sister Tilly Peckford, brother Dorman Wade, and niece Shirley Brown.

He will be forever remembered by his sons Cecil and Kevin (Gina) Wade as well as his partner of 16 years Veronica Butler.

Hubert also leaves to mourn brothers: Nelson, Frank (Sheila), and David (Tammy); sisters: Emily, Lorraine (Calvin), and Pauline (Carl); stepchildren: Jake Butler (Samantha), Nathan and Natasha Sheppard; grandchildren: Isaac, Mackenzie, Isabelle, Meyer and Evelyn; many nieces, nephews, other family, and special friends.

Hubert loved his animals Snowball and Isla and took them on daily walks before he headed over to his good friend Trevor's for coffee every morning. Hubert was a kind and loving person who was always there to lend a hand to anyone in need. We will remember his great sense of humor and all the wonderful times so many have had with Hubert.

The family would like to extend an invitation to all Family and Friends to attend a Celebration of Life for Hubert which will take place on April 9th at 2:00 pm at 14 Saunders Road, Gambo.
