Leonard BUTT

March 1 ^st , 1937 – August 24 ^th , 2011

On August 24, 2011 our lives were forever changed as a cherished father, grandfather, brother, uncle and respected friend was tragically taken from us. Predeceased by father John Cecil, mother Sarah, brothers William, Jim & Donald. Devoted and loving wife Julia Juttle of Shearstown and loving daughter Janet Kelly who was taken from us, by his side on that day.

Leaving to mourn this tragic lose are his daughter Glenda (Sutherland); son in law Duane Sutherland and grandchildren Lorne and Sarah Ann of Grand Falls-Windsor; granddaughter Charlene Kelly of Gambo; brother John (Phyllis) Butt of Toronto; sister Gladys O Keefe of Pouch Cove, and their families. Also leaving to mourn are Julia's extended family in Shearstown, and the community of Gambo who respected and embraced him, as were as the many friendships he has made throughout the years. He was a beautiful man who touched many lives and our memories of him will be cherished forever.

Visitation will be held at Pritchett's Funeral Home on Saturday, August 27 ^th , 2011 from 1pm-5pm. Funeral services will be held at the Emmanuel United Church in Gambo on Sunday August 28 ^th at 1:30pm. As his wish the committal will take place in Shearstown where his wife Julia is resting.
