With deep sadness, the family of Margaret "Peggy" Lush announces her peaceful passing. Peggy was born on August 25, 1943, in Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, to Winnifred and William Wyatt.
On August 28, 1965, she married the love of her life, Willis Lush of Gambo, NL. Together, they built a warm and welcoming home in Gambo, where they raised their family and shared a lifetime of love, faith, and devotion.
Peggy was the cherished mother of Suzanne Lush (Dave Giliberti), Kerri-Lynn Weeks (Jamie Barber), Lori Lush-Taylor (Matthew Taylor), Robyn Lush, Wendy Lush, and Benjamin Lush. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Meagan Lush, Gabrielle Panke, Hunter Weeks, Ocean Weeks, Jessica Liedtke, Dylan Taylor, Jamie Lush, Jackson Lush, and Chloe Taylor. She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Nevaeh Lush, Callie Panke, Mila Liedtke, Thomas Panke, Freya Liedtke, Julia Liedtke, and Sierra Panke.
Peggy is lovingly remembered by her sisters, Phyllis Butt (Edward Butt) and Carolyn Wyatt. Margaret was called home after her siblings; Ronald Wyatt, William Wyatt Jr., Elizabeth Foley, Marilyn Hatt, and Joanne Gillespie.
First and foremost, Peggy was a devoted servant of Christ. She was a loving wife and mother whose life was centered on faith, compassion, and generosity. Known for her warm smile, friendly nature, and open heart, Peggy welcomed everyone as though they were family. She was a trusted friend, always ready to lend a hand, offer comfort, or help someone in need. Her kindness touched countless lives, and her legacy of love will continue through all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
