Passed into eternal rest at Lakeside Home, Gander surrounded by her husband, John and children; Marie Aylward (nee Samson) of Bonavista Bay. Predeceased by her Mother & Father, John & Margaret Samson, Sisters: Alice Smith, Theresa & Agnes Samson. Survived by husband of 61 years John, Sister: Josephine Broderick, Daughters: Mary (Mel), Anita (Harold) Reardon, Margaret (John) Critchley, Elizabeth (Kevin) O'Reilly, Rita (Ray-deceased) L'Heureux, Theresa (Eric) Critchley, Maureen (Sharon) Sons: Michael (Anne) Samson, Bill (Cathy), John Jr (Brenda). 25 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren. She will be missed by numerous other relatives and friends in her community of St. Brendan's. Resting at St. Gabriel's Church, St. Brendan's, Bonavista Bay on Saturday, March 7, 5pm-10pm. Sunday March 8th 10am-7pm , Eulogy at 8pm, to celebrate her life. Visitation til 10pm. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 9 at 11am. Interment to follow at St. Gabriel's Cemetery.
