Marina Lane (February 27th 1944 – July 30th 2023)

The family of Marina (Sis) Lane is deeply saddened to announce her passing. She passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital in her 79th year, surrounded by her family on July 30, 2023.

Predeceased by her husband Raymond Lane, parents Elizabeth and Baxter Hender, and brother Bud.

Leaving to mourn daughters Penny (Bob), Joy (Brent), Diane (Jerry) and Sharon (Dave). Grandchildren Andrew (Emma), Dylan (Samantha), Mitchell, Matthew (Danielle) and Ashley. Step grandchildren Josh, Sarah, Benoit, Eric, and Ethan. Her pride and joy, great grandson Levi. Siblings, Anne, Sharon (Ray), Gail (Randy), Verna (Eddie), Marlene (Bren), Rick ( Marina), and Cindy (Ewan). Many nieces and nephews that were so special to her, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be at Pritchett's Funeral Home, Wednesday August 2nd, 2:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Anglican Church, Gambo Thursday August 3rd at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Gambo.

Donations in memory of Marina Lane may be made to the Anglican Church Parish of Gambo, Cemetery Fund.

The family would like to extend our most heartfelt appreciation to the staff of Oram's Birchview Manor, Glovertown and JPMH, Gander for the tremendous care and compassion shown to our loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
