BURRY, Mary Daphne – Passed peacefully away in her 91 st year surrounded by her loving family at Chancellor Park Long Term Care Home, St. John’s, NL on Monday, October 12, 2026. 

Predeceased by her husband Edgar, son Frederick, parents Frederick and Renora Harding, and Sister Violet Bragg.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories children: Violet Barrow (Everett), Sue-Ann Hicks (Randy), Derrick Burry (Pamela) and Keely Burry; Grandchildren Joey Hicks (Kelly), Keely Hicks, Joshua Barrow and Philip Harris; Great Grandchildren: Mary-Ann and Christina Hicks. As well as a large circle of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held at Pritchett’s Funeral Home, Gambo NL on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at 7:00-9:00 pm . Funeral Service to be held at The Salvation Army Citadel, Gambo, NL on Thursday, October 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm.

Donations in Mary’s memory may be made to The Salvation Army Gambo Corps.
