Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre on Monday, April 11, 2016. Mary Knox, aged 52 years was predeceased by her parents Thomas and Ellen Knox; her beloved Aunt Sade and her sister Marie.
Mary leaves behind, with loving memories that bring them lots of laughs, her brothers and sisters, Rita (Greg), Beth (Terry), Cathy (Si "Sly"), Wayne (Trudy), Ange (Don), Linda (Barry), Tom, Frank (Candace) and Karen; brother-in-law Len Furlong; special cousin Tony Walsh and his family and Kate Hodder - a sister in her heart, and her family.
Mary also leaves her best friend and much loved "roommate", Clare Murphy who made her eyes smile when she walked in a room, and Clare's family who loved Mary and helped Clare take care of her for the past 8 years, Libby (Stead) Crawford, Carmelita (Stu) Porter, Gerard (Tina) Murphy, Teddy (Doris) Murphy, Marie (Frank) Armstrong, Catherine French (Stephen) and Emma Peddle (Mike) and their children Sam, Emily and Gage.
Also her nieces and nephews, Bruce, Peter, Melissa, Mya, Jana, Kira-Kate, David, Faren, Rebecca, Matthew, Phillip, Tara, Patrick, Bradley, Keri, Bryan, maddie, Ryan and Natasha as well as her great-nieces and nephews, Kaylen, Kolbi, Ava, Clark, Hunter, Thomas, Lauren, Marie, James, Leonard, Jessica, Noah, Austen, Chistopher, Brady, Gemma and Max.
After her Dad passed in 2007 and Mary moved to St. John's and Clare became her best friend, she received loving care from Pat Kelly, Michelle Smith, Morgan Hayes, Clare's nieces Catherine French and Emma Peddle, Hillary Coffey, Ginger Lee Roberts and Taylor Kennell whose help and kindness made life easier for Mary, Clare and and form Mary's family everyday.
A Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, April 15, 2016 at 2:30pm from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church, Gambo, NL. Donations can be made to a charity of one's choice in Mary's memory.
