It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Murray Pond, of Gambo, aged 87. He is predeceased by his wife Daisy. Murray was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories, daughters Judy (Melvin) Goulding, Sheila (Hughie) Stares, Beryl (Jeff) Stanley, Glenys (Roy) Douglas; grandchildren, Keira, Shane, Sheena, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Amanda, Steven; great-grandson and hockey buddy, Koby; sisters, Marion Pond, Ada Efford, Maisie Pond, Betty (George) Badcock as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Visitation to be held at Pritchett's Funeral Home in Gambo on Saturday the 16th of March from 10am-9pm and on Sunday the 17th of March from 10am to 12 noon. The funeral will be held at the Salvation Army Citadel in Gambo on Sunday March the 17th at 2pm. Interment to follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in his memory may be sent to the Gambo Salvation Army Corps.
