Rowena Beatrice Glover- June 12th, 1953-June11th, 2025

Passed away at James Paton Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family, just shy of her 72nd birthday.

Predeceased by parents Roland and Sarah Glover, infant brother, and brother in law Cory Granter.

Leaving to mourn with heavy hearts; partner, Eddie Fischer, daughter-,Janice, and Grandson Kurtis,  sisters; Ellen Saunders (Andrew), Cassie Osmond (Gerald), and Corinne Granter, brothers Merick (Marlene), and Jeff (Jill). As well as a her nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, and extended family.

Rowena was born on Bragg's Island but moved to Gambo at a very young age. Throughout her life she spent time living in Dover and Goose Bay but returned to Gambo where she spent the last 30+ years.

Her love for her family was evident, as visits always included a hug and an "I love you". She enjoyed walks through her hometown, and did so most days when she could. Her strong spirit was evident right to the end.
