It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

On September 13, 2024; Sadie Bursey (nee Paul) passed peacefully away at Dr. Y.K. Jeon Health Centre, Brookfield at the age of 78, with her family by her side.

She leaves to mourn her son Bert (Valerie) two daughters Michelle (Cory) and Vera (Owen), her grandchildren Tanya, Terry, Ashley, Stephanie, Cody, Ryan and Josh and great grandchildren Brianna, Amy, Brittany, Vanessa, Ashton and Summer. Siblings Raymond (Hilda) Jessie (Marg), William (Mae), Loretta (Oliver), Daphne (Eli) and Delphine (James). She is predeceased by her first husband Edgar Bursey and her late husband Peter Hunt; parents Robert and Vera Paul and brother Edmund Paul.

Sadie will always be remembered for her love of the outdoors, fishing, hunting and camping; and her strong work ethic and generosity towards others. She was an avid member of her UCW and local 50 Plus Club.

Visitation will take place on Sunday September 15th at the United Church in Hare Bay from 2pm-9pm. Funeral will be held on Monday September 16th at 2pm at the United Church in Hare Bay.
