Passed peacefully away on Monday, September 20th, 2021 at James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander, NL surrounded by his family, Samuel (June) Lane, 76 years of age.

He was pre-deceased by his parents Samuel and Sushanna Lane, Brother Verdon Lane, Sisters Grace Lane, Maude Paul and Olive Goulding.

Left with fond and loving memories; his wife of 54 years on September 29th, Shirley Lane. Children Franklin (April) Lane, Carl Preston, Renora (Steve) Hunt, Tammy Lane and Dana Burry. Grandchildren Christopher, Robbie, Skylene, Brooke, Todd, Jamie and Jordan. Also, 5 great-grandchildren. Sisters Daphne (Jordan) Paul, Renora (Ron) Perry and Hazel (Ben) Mason, sister-in-law Verna Lane and a large circle of family and friends.

Arrangements entrusted to Pritchett's Funeral Home, visitation will take place at Pritchett's Funeral Home from 3:30 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021. The funeral service will take place Wednesday, September 22nd, 2021 at 2 pm at Emmanuel United Church, Gambo, NL by invitation only.

COVID protocol will be in place.
