It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Bernice Lane, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She passed away peacefully on  May 6 th, 2025 at Oram's Emmanuel Home in Gambo, surrounded by her loving family at the sweet age of 77.

Shirley is predeceased by her loving husband Samuel Lane Jr of 54 years, parents Arthur and Harriett Paul, parents-in-law Samuel and Susanna Lane, brothers-in-law Robert and Calvin, sister-in-law Daphne, sons-in-law Ross and Bradley.

Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Renora (Steve), Tammy, Dana and Franklyn (April), Sisters Julia (Bramwell), Ethel and Elizabeth; brothers Jordan and Clarence (Donna);  7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, plus a large circle of relatives and friends.

Visitation will take place at Pritchett's Funeral Home in Gambo, NL. Wednesday May 7th , 2025  for family between 1- 2 pm , open to the public from 2 PM - 9 PM. On May 8th, 2025 family service at 1:30 PM at Pritchett's Funeral Home, followed by the funeral service at 2:30 PM in the United Church with minister Rev Paul Vardy officiating.

Interment to follow at the United Church Cemetery, Gambo
