Obituary

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Stephen Curran (known lovingly as "Tic") on
September 27th, 2024, at the age of 70 years. Stephen is predeceased by his father Stephen Sr.,
and his mother Angela. He leaves to mourn his loving daughters Melissa (Marc) and Maggie
(Jason), grandchildren Madeline, Molly, Max, and Patrick. Also left with fond memories his
siblings Patrick (Donna), Joan, Betty (Hedley), Bill, Geraldine, Dan (Pat), Josie (Lawrence), and
Mike. He also leaves many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, that loved him
dearly, as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Tic brought joy to everyone around him by having a few laughs, telling stories, and entertaining
with his guitar and singing. He enjoyed spending time at his beloved family cabin at Triton
Brook - Gambo Pond where he spent time hunting, fishing and enjoying the great outdoors.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the Lung Transplant Team at the University of
Alberta Hospital and the staff on 5E3 who have provided exemplary care during his time there.
Tic was very grateful for the support he received from friends and family during his transplant
journey.
When remembering him, we ask that you think of how you can honor his memory by doing some
of the things he loved to do – visit someone who is not feeling well, help out a friend in need, or
make someone's day brighter in some way. In lieu of flowers or donations, please consider
giving the gift of life by becoming an organ donor. Organ Donation - Give the Gift of Life
Funeral arrangements and a celebration of life will be announced in the coming days.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Roman Catholic Parish Hall Oct 8  from  3 - 6 pm

Forever Young
Song by Bob Dylan
Lyrics
May God bless and keep you always
May your wishes all come true
May you always do for others
And let others do for you
May you build a ladder to the stars
And climb on every rung
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young
May you grow up to be righteous
May you grow up to be true
May you always know the truth
And see the light surrounding you
May you always be courageous
Stand upright and be strong
May you stay forever young
May you stay forever young
