Passed peacefully away at James Paton Memorial Hospital on September 30, 2022
surrounded by his loving family, Sterling Freeman Smith of Gambo in his 80 th year.
Sterling is survived by his wife Florence of 49 years, sons Jamie (Lisa), Christopher
(Jennifer); grandchildren Hannah, Joshua, Amy, Andrew; sister Tryphie (Baxter)
and nephew Rodney (Colleen). Along with a large circle of family and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents Zachariah and Viola Smith; sister Amy and
brother-in-law Angus MacDonald.
Sterling was born in Elliott's Cove, Random Island on March 19, 1942. Sterling
loved his family dearly and adored his grandchildren.
Visitation to take place on Oct 2, 2022 from 2pm – 9pm at Pritchett's Funeral
Home, Gambo.
Funeral will take place on October 3, 2022, 1pm at the Salvation Army Church in
Gambo, officiated by Lt Nancy Studiman.
