Passed peacefully away on June 21, at James Peyton Memeorial Hospital in Gander, Theresa Marie Cashin (Dempsey) at age 78. Leaving to mourn, with fond and loving memories, are children; Trudy (Bill) Broderick, Jim (Kathy), Bill, Philomena (Dwight) Lane, Jerry (Denise), Susan (Kevin) Goulding, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn are sisters; Bridget Kelly, Ellen Swan and Jose Agustino, brother Donald Dempsey, and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Theresa was pre-deceased by husband William, sisters; Monica Howard, Annie Reeves and brother David Dempsey. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, June 24, 2012 at 2 pm from Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Gambo, followed by internment at Gambo RC Cemetary. Service officiated by Father Tom Duffenais and Deacon Mike Timmons. In her memory, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, the Gambo R.C. Parish Cemetary Fund or flowers are graciously accepted. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Pritchett's Funeral Home, Gambo. Visitation to take place on Saturday, June 23 from 10 am to 9 pm and Sunday, June 24 from 10 am to 1 pm.
