Verna Lush (nee Brentnall)
1956-2013

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother and wife, Verna Gertrude Lush, aged 56, of Gambo at the St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Verna was predeceased by her father Scott, sister Beverly, sister-in-law Sadie and nephew David. Leaving to mourn, with our wonderful memories, are her devoted husband Peter; her mother Joyce; her siblings Jerry and Judy (Gary); her children: Scott (Krista), Connie (John), and Chad (Joanne); her treasured grandchildren: Xander, Maggie, Sawyer, Reed, Peter, Eloise, Anderson, Gordon and Isaac; her brothers and sisters-in-law: Thomas (Lily), Terry (Marie), Harold (Venessa), and Lawrence (Josie); her special nieces and nephews: Tracy, Shelly, Susan, Beth Ann, Stephanie, Stephen, Shane, Brent, Madonna, John, Nadine, Luanne, Michael, Joanne, Peter, Caytee, Kendra, Walter, and Steven; many great-nieces and nephews; and a huge circle of close family and friends. She held a special place in all of our hearts and will be dearly missed by all.
The family wish to extend a special thank you to all the staff and attending physicians at the James Paton Memorial Hospital and family doctor, Dr. Button in Gander who assisted in her care. Resting at Pritchett's Funeral Home in Gambo. Visitation to be held on Saturday June 1st from 2pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm; Sunday June 2nd from 2pm-6pm and on Monday June 3rd from 11am-12pm. The funeral will be held on Monday June 3rd at 2pm at the Salvation Army Citadel in Gambo. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully accepted in her memory to the Gambo Recreation Commission (playground).
