Obituary

Willis Randolph Lush, in his 83rd year, of Gambo, Newfoundland, passed away peacefully on October 6th ,
2023, at Bonnew's Lodge, New-Wes-Valley.


He was born on November 3rd , 1940, in Gambo, Newfoundland to Benjamin Charlie Lush and Effie
Dorcas Lush (nee Collins). Willis was a beloved husband to Margaret Lush (nee Wyatt) for 58 years and a
loving father to Suzanne (Dave), Kerri-Lynn (Jamie), Lori (Matt), Robyn, Wendy and Benjamin. He was
also a proud grandfather to Meagan, Gabrielle, Hunter, Ocean, Jessica, Dylan, Jamie, Jackson and Chloe
and Great Grandfather to Nevaeh, Callie, Mila, Thomas, Freya, Julia. His family was his greatest source of
joy and pride, and he leaves behind cherished memories that will be treasured forever.
Willis was a dedicated Millwright with the Iron Ore Company of Canada, known for his hard work,
integrity, and commitment to excellence. He cherished moments spent with his wife and children
singing, cultivating unique trees and animal culture. His zest for life was contagious, and he encouraged
those around him to take a chance and embrace every moment.
He is predeceased by brothers Wilson and Wayne and sister Greta Pinder (nee Lush) survived by his
brother Donald Lush, sisters Joyce Moosang, Betty Collins, Faye Jones and Heather King who will forever
cherish the memories they created together.


Visitation will take place at Pritchett's Funeral Home on Saturday, October 7th, 2023, from 7pm-
9pm. A funeral service in honor of Willis's life will be held at the Salvation Army Church in Gambo on
Sunday, October 8 th , 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Salvation Army Cemetery, Gambo.
Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate his life and offer their final farewells.
Donations in memory of Willis can be made to Parkinson's Canada.


The family would like to express their gratitude to all those who supported them during this difficult
time. Your condolences and acts of kindness have provided comfort during our grief.
Willis leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will forever hold a special
place in our hearts, and his spirit will continue to inspire.
